Macau/Hong Kong Visit

Had a wonderful opportunity to take in a flying visit to Hong Kong and then on to Macau. Macau has many memories and is a city of such contradictions. Huge brightly lit confections of casinos, with their endless acres of tables and winding glassy marble shopping malls. Then there is the cobblestone alleys and brightly painted buildings reflecting it's years as a Portuguese overseas territory. Not handed over to the Chinese until 1999, the influences are everywhere, from churches throught o the most delicious Portuguese tarts to be had anywhere!
This time I finally got to experience Franco Dragone's (ex-Cirque de Soleil) incredible spectacular The House of Dancing Water. An extraordinary feat of engineering and live performance creation that is simply unforgettable.
